Basics of drawing in Flash

You will learn the following skills:

  • Pen
  • Brush
  • Paintbucket
  • Eyedropper
  • Drawing Modes

 

  1. A file has been started for you so you can simply focus on learning the drawing basics.
  2. You will trace a character's walk cycle.
  3. We will start together so I can show you some basics of the tools, you will then trace and color the character in each of the 8 frames.

 

Setting up a File to Trace in Adobe Flash

You will learn the following skills:

  • create a Flash document
  • importing a sequence of images
  • working with layers (creating, naming, locking)
  • creating keyframes
  • working with the Text tool
