Photoshop Intermediate CC
In this session, participants will learn about new features in Photoshop including: in app search, content aware tools, facial feature adjustment, and working with multiple artboards. Participants will also learn new painting techniques using Filters, saving for the web from Photoshop and getting creative with digital photos. Participants will have many projects ideas to take back to their classroom. Bring along your Adobe mobile apps and see how they can be integrated into Photoshop.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with Photoshop.
Illustrator CC Intermediate
In this session, participants will create fan art from a reference photo and how to use gradient mesh to create realistic artwork. We will prepare our documents and use the following tools: Pen, Blob Brush, Brush, and Pencil to trace and color the image. You will be shown how to convert your reference image to grayscale within Illustrator, how to toggle the View Mode of a layer, export your document and Package the image for sharing. If you have a Wacom tablet bring it to the session and tips will be provided on how to take advantage of the tablets capabilities within Illustrator. New features will also be shown and discussed.
Bring along your Adobe mobile apps and see how they can be integrated into Illustrator.
Prerequisite: Familiarity with Illustrator should be able to use the Pen tool.
Animate CC / Toon Boom Intro
In this session, participants will learn about Animate CC and the changes from Flash Professional. Participants will create an animation with a variety of techniques, including frame-by-frame animation, shape tween and motion tween. We will cover the basics of drawing in Animate and use the following tools: Pen, Brush, Paintbucket and Eyedropper.
In the afternoon, participants will also learn about ToonBoom Storyboard software and Harmony. Participants will work with the ToonBoom Storyboard software to see how students can create a storyboard while referencing their script.
